Well the semester is coming to a close, and I think we all deserve to celebrate getting through it all with only minor injuries!!
I know that many of you will be going back to Germany soon after the end of semester, and it'd be great if you could go home with great memories of Sydney =)
What I was thinking was maybe we could have a picnic on a Sunday afternoon in a park overlooking Sydney harbour, then for all those up for it, kick on in the city that evening. It would probably happen after the exams are all over, for those of you unlucky enough to have exams!
Of course, this is open to suggestions, so if you guys have any thoughts on the end of semester party, please let us know!

Ich schlage vor, dass wir einen schoenen Park finden und ein typisch australischen Barbeque-Party haben (dh. grillen). Fuer unsere Pflanzfresser (Verzeihung Heiko - "vegetarische Freunde") koennen wir "Vegetable Patties" oder was aehnliches mitbringen.

Es ist eine tolle idee, aber leider spielt meiner Fussball mannschaft gegen 13 bis 15 uhr am Sonntag, deshalb koennte ich nuer etwas am Abend tun- Pech :(
also Samir und ich haben uns gedacht, dass die Party gegen 14/15 Uhr anfangen wuerde, sodass wir danach in die Innenstadt weggehen koennten, vielleicht zur Opera Bar oder so.
